As some of you may know my husband, David Gallegos, was diagnosed with colon cancer during a colonoscopy on July 1, 2011. Following that procedure on July 15th he had surgery to remove the tumor as well as nearly two-thirds of his large intestine and then he began a course of 6 months of chemotherapy on August 15th.
On September 17th he played his first full band gig at Mercy Wine Bar in Addison. He had just completed the 3rd of the 12 treatments the Wednesday before the show. I am so happy to be able to share some of the pictures with you all.
Great pics Lisa! It's wonderful to get to share his comeback just a little bit. Dave looks good and there's nothing like getting back to normal things to help with the healing. You guys are amazing and rest assured that the prayers and good wishes will keep coming your way... God bless...
